From Ashes to Ashes, Chapter 2

	An hour later, Ashe has been relocated to Tails' room.  Bunny Rabbot is bandaging his broken hand.
	
	"There, said Bunny, "all betta' now"
	"Thanks"
	"Now you betta' get some rest now."
	"Like hell I will," Ashe remarked, making his way to the door.  Bunny grabs him with her metallic arm
	"Now where da ya think you're goin' sugah'?"  Bunny tosses Ashe on the bed prepared for him.  "Sally said you'll be going nowhere tonight.  Now you just get some rest now.  An' don't try any funny stuff;  I'll be watchin' you"
	"Great, just great, I'm being baby-sat by robo-rabbit"
	Tails, who is in the bed next to Ashe, giggles.
	"And what's so funny?" remarked Ashe
	Tails stopped giggling.
	"Nothing" he replies.

	Next morning

	"Ashe is missing!"

Ashes to Ashes, Chapter 3

	"Bunny, BUNNY!" Sally screams
	"What?"  Bunny yawned.
	"Where's Ashe?"
	"He's right there Sally," Bunny paused, "Oh my stars!"
	
	"Freedom Fighters, we have a problem on our hands"
	"What is it Sal?" asked Sonic.
	"Ashe is missing"
	"I told you he waz a spy!" Antoine remarked
	"OK, Sonic, you and Tails go look around for Ashe.  I don't think he could have gone far in his condition.  Antoine and Rotor.  Rotor?  Where's Rotor?"
	"Last time I saw him he was working late in his workshop Sal," said Sonic

	Back in Rotor's workshop

	"Fascinating," said Rotor, "I've never had the opportunity to look at SWATbot technology so closely."  Rotor was examining the arm Ashe ripped of the SWATbot.
	"That's great Rotor, now do you mind?" Ashe remarked
	"Right," said Rotor.  They were both busy working on making modifications to the SWATbot's arm mounted laser, detaching it from the arm, giving it a better trigger mechanism, and amplifying its power.  Then Sally walk in.
	"Rotor, Ashe is," Sally paused, "YOU!"
	"What do you want?" Ashe asked under his breath.
	Sally just stood there, angry.
	"Hi Sally," yawned Rotor, tired from working though the night on the gun "Me and Ashe have been working on his gun."
	Sally turned to Ashe.  "What?  OH, nevermind.  How did you get pass Bunny?"
	"I had a little help," replied Ashe.
	Sally looked over to Tails.  He's was looking away, whistling, pretending nothing happened.  (Tails has sneaked out many times at without Bunny's noticing)
	Sally calmed down.  "Ashe, could I have a word with you?"

	Ashe and Sally step outside.

	"What's up Sal? Did you find anything?" asked Ashe
	"Nicole.  Ashe from what we found out, you weren't the only one brought here," said Sally.
	"That's nice.  Did you find out what brought me here?"
	"No, we ran into some SWATbots before we could download all the data."
	"Well, ain't that just dandy!"
	"Quite!  We'll find out soon enough, Uncle Chuck is still working on getting us the info."
	"So, now what?"
	"Now we looking for the others who were brought here."
	"Why?"
	"Nicole.  Seems Doctor Robotnick has been keeping track of his errors.  He's already captured some of his "accidents" he brought to Mobius.  Most have been robotized.  The rest are keep for study."  Sally paused, "We have to get to the others before Robotnick does."
	"OK, so are these people?"
	"Nicole."  Sally shows Ashe a pictures Nicole has brought up.
	"Who's she?  WHAT is she?" asked Ashe
	"We don't know here name; All we know is she's a fox and that she landed on the Floating Island."
	"Floating Island?" Ashe was confused
	Sally points the north sky.  "That's the Floating Island."
	"OK, so how do we get there?" asked Ashe
	"WE are not going there.  You're still badly injured."
	"Lady, it ain't that bad."  Ashe moves his fingers.  "See?  Besides," Ashe draw his gun and fires it at a nearby tree, the tree snapped in two, "You could use my help."
	Sally stands in awe.  "Very well Ashe.  See that?" Sally points to a clearing.
	"See what?
	"Nicole activate launch pad."
	"Activating Sally."
	A hole opens up in the ground.  A biplane rises.
	"Nice." Remarked Ashe
	"You, me, Sonic and Tails are heading to the Floating Island to find her.  Pack your bags."

	Meanwhile in a hideout deep within the Floating Island.

	"Knock, knock?"
	"Who's there?"
	"Boo!"
	"Boo who?"
	"Don't cry it's only a joke."
	"Very funny."
	The door to the hideout slides open.  Laura "Knock" Lemon, a lemming, enters, with a new friend
	"Morning Nack."
	"Morning Knock."
	Knock throws her signature question mark hat onto the hat rack and her bag at Nack.  "Look inside"
	Nack open the bag and takes out a Chaos Emerald.  "Great job Laura.  Do you have any trouble getting it?" 
	"Just that silly echinda, that's about it."
	Nack puts the emerald over the fireplace along with their other tresures. "SO," Nack looks over Laura's shoulder, "Who's your friend?"
	"This is Mary, Mary Gold."
	"Like, hi!" says Marigold, chewing her bubble gum.
	Nack grabs Laura by the arm and whispers to her. "What were you thinking, bringing a strange fox to hideout.  What if she's working with Nick?"
	Marigold blows a bubble and it pops, Nack and Laura look at her for a second, then turn around and continue whispering to each other.
	"Relax Nack," Laura whispers back, "I found her around the Mushroom Hills.  She we cold, hungry, and crying. I think she's lost.  Can she please stay Nack, PLEASE?"
	"Well," Nack sighed, "I guess she could stay, for awhile."
	Laura kisses Nack of the cheek.  "Thanks sweety."  Nack blushes, wiping the kiss from his checking.  A beep comes from Laura's bag.  Laura walked over to her bag and opens it, taking out a hand-held computer.
	"What is it Sarah?" Laura asked the computer.
	Sarah displayed a picture of Sonic, Tails, Sally and Ashe walking through the Mushroom Hills.
	"Well, what do we have here?" Said Nack, looking over Laura's shoulder.  "Seems we have company."
	"It's Sonic and his gang," said Laura, "And some new guy."
	Nack grabs his bag and his exclamation point hat Laura mad for him.  "Care to go 'shopping' for Power Rings Knock?"
	Laura throw here bag on her back, "Sure thing Nack!"
	Nack whispers to Laura, "What about her?" Nack nods in Marigold's general direction
	"Mary," said Laura, "Me and Nack are going," she giggles, "'shopping', could you be a doll and wait here?  There's some food in the ‘fridge over there and I have some extra clothes in my closet.  Just make yourself at home."
	"Like, sure, OK, whatever," said Marigold
	The door to the hideout slides open.  Nack and Knock leave.

	A few minutes later in the Mushroom Hills

	"How long have we been here?" Ashe asked, "My feet are killing me."
	"Quiet Ashe," said Sally, "Nicole, scan the area for life."
	"Scanning.  Found, Princess Sally Alicia Acorn, Sonic Hedgehog, Miles Prower.  Unidentified life at six inches south of current location."
	Sally looked back, it was Ashe.  Nicole's database had not been updated yet.  Sally sighs.  "Sonic, Tails, take a quick look around the area.  Me and Ashe will head back to the plane and set up camp; we're spending the night here."
	"Sure thing Sal, come on Tails, let's juice."

	Sonic sped off around the hills.  Tails takes off into the air, getting a bird's eye view of the Mushroom Hills.
	"Find anything Sonic?" asked Tails.
	"Nothing, Tails, you see anything up there?"
	"No."
	"Tails, it's getting late;  Get back to the camp, I'll finish looking around."
	"OK Sonic, whatever you say."  Tails flew off.

	Meanwhile, Nack and Knock are cooking something up.

	"Hedgehog at four hundred hours Nack, coming in fast." said Knock.
	"Good, get down here." Knock slides the mushroom she was on.  Nack handss her a piece of rope.
	"OK, you hide behind there.  On the count of three, pull."
	"OK sweety," Knock kisses Nack on the cheek and hides behind the mushroom.
	Sonic comes speeding in
	"One, two, THREE!"  Nack and Knock pull on the rope, tripping Sonic.  Sonic is knocked out.
	"Quick, get the bag!" Said Nack
	Knock ran over to Sonic, grabbed his bag and opened it.  "Jackpot!" she exclaimed.
	"Quick!  Back to the hideout before blue boy wakes up."

	Meanwhile, back at the hideout, Marigold is sitting near the fireplace, filing her nails.  The door starts to slides open slowly.
	Marigold pops her bubble.  "Like, who's is it or some junk?"
	There's on answer.  Marigold gets up and walked towards the door.  The door stops moving.
	"Maybe it's the wind" she though, chewing her bubble gum.
	The door then blows open, knocking Marigold out, pinning her underneath it.

	Minutes later, Nack and Knock come to the hideout, finding the door blown off.

	"What the ....?" Nack says
	Nack and Knock carefully walk inside.
	"Mary.  MARY!"  Laura screamed.
	A groan is heard from under the door.
	Laura tries to lift the door off.  "Nack, help me!"
	Nack runs over and help Laura lift the door.  Marigold is found underneath.
	"What happened?" Marigold sakes.
	"Someone broke in here," said Nack, slowing looking around the room.  His eyes fixed on the fireplace.
	"NO!" Nack gets on his knees, crying.
	"What's wrong sweety?" Asked Laura
	Nack points to the fireplace.  The Chaos Emerald is missing.

	Back in Robotroplis

	"Robotnik, it's me, Wesley, I have a present for you."
