(Sega Saturn Emulator )
guide by Andrew (Edited by lockshaw13 & Barnito)
This guide assumes that the program is located in a folder on the C drive called girigiri , things shouldn't be any different if you have the emulator anywhere else though C:\girigiri is used for convenience.
This Guide is presuming you have a game ripped to .bin/.cue format (if you don't then convert it to this format). Also, if your BIN/CUEs have spacesin the filenames, you will get a "disk unsuitable" error message. You will have to add underscores where the spaces are.
1) Run GLaunch.exe and set your controller settings, you only have to do this once, next time you run a game you can skip to step 2. Close GLaunch, do NOT click any other buttons.
2)Now Run loader.exe.
Choose your resolution, region, CDROM (if you are running off a cd), and control settings. Now either push the RunCD Button, or the Run CUE/BIN if you are running off your hard drive, just navigate to the CUE and it will start the game....If the game is compatible with the emulator it should now load.
Here is a picture of Girigiri in action:
One common problem that arises here is that the cue file will have the wrong path in it, so the emulator will not run....
IF and only if this happen then you need to open the cue file in a text editor (notepad will do) and alter the first line. In my example the first line of daytona.cue reads like this
Just remove the F:\ out of the quotation marks so the first line reads FILE "DAYTONA.BIN" BINARY, and open up gloader.exe and start again...
