The Sega Saturn was a 32-bit CD-ROM based console. Its competition, the Sony PlayStation and the Nintendo 64, pushed it out of the running by a long shot. Maybe if the Saturn had a *real* Sonic game (such as Sonic Xtreme, which was unfortunately canceled), it would have survived longer.
Sega Saturn BIOS files |
The Sega Saturn BIOSes are required by most emulators in order to run Sega Saturn games. Included in this BIOS pack are three BIOSes - two are Japanese (one is v1.00, the other is v1.01), and the other one is European and American. You will need to set the Sega Saturn BIOS files in your emulator's configuration to point to these BIOS files. (01/14/03 - removed Korean and European ROM, since they were the same as the US ROM.) |
