Sonic was alone in the forest. He was all alone sitting on a rock. The planet that he used to know of, the planet that he lives on, Mobius, is practically all in ruins. There aren't that many other life forms left on the planet. Sonic started to remember what happened. Sonic and his parent's were kinda poor. They lived in a tiny house in a village. Sonic was just a kid. He loved playing with his best friend, Rotor. Then he came. The mad scientist with unimaginable technology. Dr.Robtnik. He came in the village in his huge machines and his robot's. Sonic also noticed the black hedgehog that was holding a jewel. Sonic tried to stop him but the black hedgehog kept saying "Chaos Control" and would warp to another spot. Sonic knew it was a legendary Chaos Emerald. It was the first time he saw one. Sonic tried to attack Robotnik. Then Robotnik sent out two robots that looked like Sonic. They were Metal sonic and Silver Sonic. They were the ones that killed Sonic's parents right in front of him. They were also the ones that kidnapped Rotor. Robotnik destroyed all the cities and kingdoms in Mobius. Sonic is now in his teen ages. He's been hiding out in the forest for a long time. He know's that Rotor is still alive. Sonic wanted to go get him, but he didn't know where Robotnik was. And he also needed an army. Sonic knew that there had to be some survivors. Sonic was running around the forest when he heard a voice. "Please help me." Sonic stopped. He heard the voice crying. Sonic looked around. He heard the voice in a tree. He looked up and he saw a fox. "Hold on," said Sonic. "I'll get you out of there." Sonic ran back a few yards. Then he ran foward again really fast. He ran so fast that he was able to run up the tree. Sonic curled up in a ball and cut the branch that the fow was caught on. The fox got free. "Thank you so much," said the fox. "My name is Miles. What;s your name?' Sonic looked at the fox. He was very young. He had to be at least six years old. Sonic also noticed that the fow had two tails. "My name is Sonic," said Sonic. "What's the deal with your tails?" "It was a birth defect," said Miles. "But I can spin them up and fly with them. Watch this." Miles wouned up his tails and started to fly. He was fying pretty fast. He kept going and he crashed into a tree. "That was cool," said Sonic. "I'm gonna call you Tails from now on." "Ok," said Tails. "I never liked my old name to begin with. So how have you survived all this time? "Well," said Sonic. "I only ate apples and other friuts off of trees. If only you knew what I'd do for a chille dog right now." "Get out," said Tails. "You like chille dogs too?" "They're my favorite food," said Sonic. "You like chille dogs? This is the beginning of a beautiful frendship." Sonic and Tails started talking. They each told each other about thier encounters with Robotnik. Sonic told Tails about his friend Rotor. It was safe in the forest. Robotnik had no idea that Sonic and Tails were alive. The sun started to set. "Uh oh," said Tails. "It's staring to get dark outside." "What's the matter?" said Sonic. "Are you afraid of the dark?" "Well..." said Tails. Sonic knew that Tails was afraid. He couldn't blame him. He was just a kid. "Don't worry," said Sonic. "We can build a tree house." Sonic and Tails both built a treehouse and slept in it when night fell. They started to have a conversation that night. "Hey Sonic," said Tails. "I noticed how you can run really fast. Maybe we can rush into Robotnik's city and find Rotor. I know none of his robot's will be able to get you." "But we don't know where that city is," said Sonic. "I know where it is," said Tails. I have a small plane called the Tornado. I don't fly it often because Robotnik can pick it up on radar. We can rush into the city tomorrow." "Alright Tails," but maybe we should get a good night's sleep." "Okay," asid Tails. "Good night."
