The ship was a bit overcrowded. The fight for freedom began agains the Eggman Empire. Everyone became acquainted with each other in the ship. It turned out that Antoine was no help at all. That he was a coward. Amy was also a coward. But she had a little crush on Sonic. "Okay," said Tails. "We have one Chaos Emerald. Robotnik has another one, and Knuckles has the other." "This ship is crampin me up!" said Bunnie. "It is kinda crowded," said Sonic. "I know of a space station," said Shadow. "It's in outer space. It's a space colony called The Ark. We can sneak inside and get a bigger ship." "Outer space, huh?" said Sonic. "I for one would like to see what its like. We can go to the Ark and come back to Mobius." "Okay,' said Shadow. "I'm no pilot, and Tails doesn't know his way. We better let Gamma fly this thing. This ship is unarmed, but we can send the rest fo the E-Series on the top of the ship and use them as missle turrets. Metal Sonic and Silver Sonic will fly outside the ship and we can use them as fighter cover." "Well what are we waiting for?" asked Rotor. "Lets do this." Gamma flew the ship while the rest of the E-Series were set up on top of the ship. Thier legs were inside the ship and thier bodies where outside. They were locked into the ship so they wouldn't fall out. Metal Sonic and Silver Sonic were flying outside the ship. They reached outer space. They had a visual on the Ark. "It's huge!" said Amy. Suddenly, ememy fighters appeared. There wre five of them. "Metal Sonic, Silver Sonic! Break off and engage those fighters," said Shadow. Teh E-Series also fired from the ship. The fighters flew right passed Metal and SIlver Sonic and was right behind the ship. They started to fire. They hit Beta, Delta, Zeta, and Epsilon. The four memebers of the E-Series were destroyed. Gamma was still inside the sip safely. "We lost the E-Series dammit!" yelled Sally. "Where's are cover?" asked Tails. Metal Sonic and Silver Sonic finally got a lock on the enemies and shot them down. They were very close to the Ark. Suddenly ten enemy fighters came out of the Ark. Ten enemy fighters also came from behind. "Get back in this ship," sadi Sonic to Metal Sonic and Silver Sonic. "It's too dangereous." Metal Sonic and SIlver Silver Sonic got into teh ship. "We;re gonna jump into hyperspace," said Shadow. "We can get away and we'll go straight to the planet, Night." "Night?" asked Amy." "I'll explain later," said Shadow. "Let's just get outtta here." Gamma made the ship jump to light speed. When they stopped, they had a visual on a black planet about the size of Mobius (which is about the size of Mars). "This planet is called Night," said Shadow. "It got it's name because it is always dark. The planet is lit up from the lgiths of all the cities. Ther people on this planet should be friendly with you guys, but Robotnik has Swat bots all over the planet. They're like the police, but everyone there holds a grudge against Robotnik." "So there are other planets?" asked Sonic. "With creatures like us? That's cool, just like me." Everyone got closer to the planet until they reached the atmosphere. Gamma went to a space prt to land. They picked up a transmittion from a swat bot. "Send me some identification," said the swat bot. "You need clearance to land." Gamma had clearance codes and got permission to land." "Ha!" said Sonic. "I guess the news about Shadow and the bots didn't get this far. They still think you're on thier side." Gamma landed the ship. There weren't many swat bots in the space port. So everyone got off the ship casually. There were creatures just like the ones on Mobius. The city was so futuristic in Sonic's eyes.He never had this kind of technolgy. The Freedom Fighters left the space port. They were outside and Sonic couldn't belive his eyes. "Wow!" said Sonic. "Okay, I'm gonna go around this city with Shadow and look for any Chaos Emeralds. There has to be something here. The rest of you can go enjoy yourselves. I want Metal Sonic and Silver Sonic to come with me. Gamma can come with you guys. We have walkie talkies so we can find each other if we get lost. Watch out for swat bots." Sonic, Shadow, Metal Sonic, and Silver Sonic went around the city. Everyone there gave them a bad look. THey thought that thaey were on Robotnik's side. "I doubt, we'll find any Chaos Emeralds lyin around in this city," said Sonic. "Why don't we look for more Freedom Fighters to join us?" "Nights Casino!" said Shadow. "I know of someone named Nights. He can help us a lot." "Where's the casino?" asked Sonic. "Tracking," said Metal Sonic. "Follow me." Sonic, Shadow and Silver Sonic followed Metal Sonic. They finally reached Night's Casino. It was a big place. They walked inside to see people gambling. They needed to find Nights. "Look up!" said Silver Sonic. Everyone in the casino looked up to see Nights himself doing some acrobatic moves on some poles oan ropes on the ceiling. Nights landed in the center of the casino. "Welcome..." said Nights. "...to the greatest casino in the city of Casinopolis. What I have here is a Chaos Emerald. It is a jewel which contains many mystical powers. There are seven of them in all. This is very rare." Nights did a little magic trick to make the Chaos Emerald dissapear. "Whoever can find it in my casino will win 500 rings and will get to keep the Chaos Emerald." "I can get that emerald," yelled Shadow. Everyone turned and looked at him and gasped. They all feared Shadow. And they were even more scared that Metal and Silver Sonic were with them. Just then, a team of ten swat bots walked into the casino. "Everybody freeze!" yelled one of the swat bots. They pointed at Shadow, Sonic, Metal Sonic, and Silver Sonic. "They are all under arest!"
