Sonic, Shadow, Knuckles, and Gamma were on thier way back to Mobius. And more importantly, to Angel Island. "I have a question," said Sonic to Knuckles. "You know all about the emeralds. But I've never seen these guardians before. Just what are they?" "Well," said Knuckles. "They are the controllers of whatever they guard. I don't know how they came to be. But that's just what they do. They're very powerful. I'm surprised that the two of you defeated the Ice Guardian with just one emerald. Anyway, Ice is the weakest guardian because Ice is easily overcome by other elements. Fire is the second weakest, but is still very powerful, and almost unstoppable with all the emeralds. Fire has comlpete power over ice. Water has complete power over fire and ice. It could destroy both. You do know that water melts ice. And then there's the most powerful. Electricity. The Lightning Guardian. The most powerful. Eh, we'll cross that bridge when we come to it." "Wait," said Shadow. "What about the Master Emerald?" "Well," said Knuckles. "The Emeralds have been around since the begining of time. They are siad to be the controllers of everything. And when someone posesses all seven of the Chaos Emeralds, their true power and self is unleashed. That means that if Robotnik used the emeralds on himself, his true evil will be unleashed. But there is a story behind the Master Emerald. This happened many generations ago. It was before Angel Island ever existed. But there was still the shrine to the Master Emerald. And the Chaos Emeralds. There was a nearby tribe that wanted to take complete control over the Master Emerald. There was a race of defenseless Chao there. The tribe wanted to wipe them all out.A girl went to the shrine once. She met the guardian of the Chao and the Master Emerald. Chaos. She befriended Chaos and tried to stop her father from taking over Chaos's land. But her father wouldn't listen. Him and his tribe went and destroyed all of the Chao. In his anger, Chaos killed the whole tribe but spared Tikal. Because of his anger, Tikal had no other choice but to seal him into the Master Emerald where he could never again do what he did. But while he was in the Emerald, he used its power to bring a huge piece of that land into the sky, with Tikal on it. I am Tikal's last decsendant. The other Chaotix are just guys that accidentally got onto Angel Island with stolen equipment from Robotnik. But they are all I have left. They're my family." When Knuckles was done with the story, their ship entered Mobius's atmoshpere. They were on the planet. They didn't run into any of Robotnik's fighter ships in space because the space colony Ark was on the other side of the planet at the time. "Unable to land on Angel Island," said Gamma. "All pasengers enter an escape pod." The boarding ship was crashing into the ocean at an incredible speed. Sonic, Shadow, Knuckles, and Gamma each entered a seperate escape pod and ejected from the ship. Thier escape pods landed near the edge of the Island. They made a crash, but everyone was okay. They all left thier smokey escape pods. They all ran to the edge of the Island. Angel Island was twenty thousand feet  in the air, which is about as high as an airplane goes. They looked down into the ocean to see thier boarding ship his the ocean with an impact that caused small tidal waves. It looked like a small meteor had hit. But they were all okay. They then heard some crashes on the island that also sounded like escape pods hitting the Island. They looked down to see two more ships hit the ocean. Other people from the planet Dessa must have escaped to Angel Island. "Gamma," said Shadow. "Do a scan of this Island." "Scanning for other life forms on the Islnd," said Gamma. "Identities confirmed. Miles Prower. Charmy Bee. Iggy. Fang. Claw." "Wait a minute," said Sonic. "Isn't Fang that treasure hunter that's working for Robotnik? They must be going after the Master Emerald too." "Wait a minute," said Knuckles. "Gamma, scan the Island for any other robots." "Scanning," said Gamma. "Identities confirmed. Metal Sonic. Silver Sonic. Zero. Multiple swatbots." "Damn," said Knuckles. "We're gonna be toast. And if they catch Charmy, Tails, Iggy, Claw, of Metal and Silver, who know's what they'll do to them? We have to stick together. First we go after our friends, then the Master Emerald. I know that this Island is huge, but I know every nook and crany of it. And don't worry. The Master Emerald is hidden deep down in a cave. It's way underground. Let's go." Sonic looked up and noticed something strange. "Hey," said Sonic. "Since when does Mobius have a second moon? The Ark is on the other side of the planet it can't be the Ark?" "That's not the Ark," said Shadow. "And that sure isn't a moon. What is it?" "We'll deal with that later," said Knuckles. "Our main objective is to find our friends and then get Chaos to come to Dessa and get our base back. Now follow me." Angel Island was huge. It was mostly a forest. Ther were lakes and rivers. The rivers just flowed out to the ocean. The Chaos gave the Island un unlimeted amount of water on the Island. In the midle of the Island was a huge mountain. Angel Island was like a mini planet. Knuckles guded them through the island. He was a treasure hunter, but he could also sense if someone was near. Knuckles lead them deep into the forest. It was a little dark because of all the trees. Knuckles knew his was around but Sonic and Shadow were lost. "They are very close," said Knuckles. "Hold on a minute." Knuckles used his sharp Knuckes to climb one of the trees. The trees were towering. Knuckles finally got to the top. He poked his head above the tree. He looked around. As soon as he turned his head he saw a robot that looked like a bat. (a real bat, not a bat like rouge). It was going really fast. Knuckles ducked down. He looked up again to see three more bats. Each one aobut the sixe of him. They flew by really fast. They turned around back at Knuckles. Knuckles then jumped up and started to glide above the trees withou decsending. He flew straight towards them. He knew that if they got away, they would inform an army of robots somewhere on the Island. The bat bots were charging at him fast. Knuckles then dropped into a tree so they couldn't find him. When they passed over the tree, Knuckles charged straight up knuckle-first. His knuckles tore right through one bat. One down, three to go. Knuckles glided up above the trees again. He flew straight towards one bat bot and slashed at it with his Knuckles and tore right through it. The other two bat bots started flying away to informa team of swat bots. Knuckles couldn't catch up. He wasn't fast enough. They were gonna get away. Then he heared something firing from behind. He saw the two bat bots get shot down. Knuckles turned around to see Metal SOnic, Silver Sonic, Charmy, Tails, and Iggy flying behind him. They turned around and went under the trees. Knuckles folloewd them back. When Knuckles got down, he saw Sonic, Shadow, Gamma, Tails, Iggy, Charmy, Metal, Silver, and Claw. "Hey, thanks for gettin my back there," said Knuckles. "No problem," said Charmy. "Claw, and I got here in the same transport. Tails and Iggy were with those two robots. We flew in formation to this Island. I knew that we had to go here to get help against the Fire Guardian." "We were here to do the same thing," said Sonic. "We know all about Chaos. And we're gonna find him." "Then let's go," said Charmy. "They need us." "Wait," said Knuckles. "It wont be that easy. That treasure hunter, Fang, is here. So is Zero and a huge team of swatbots." "Well then," said Claw. I guess we'll have to try not to find them. Now lets find Chaos. My people are dying on Dessa."
