Sonic, Shadow, Knuckles, Tails, Iggy, Claw, Charmy, Metal, Silver, and Gamma turned around to see Chaos before them. Knuckles and Charmy wave waited for the day and weren't surprised. But eveyrone else was in awe. "Chaos," said Knuckles. "We need your help. We need you to come to the plante Dessa to destroy the Fire Guardian and save our people." Suddenly, Chaos's arm stretched ten feet toward's Knuckles and grabbed him by one of his hairs. Chaos held Knuckles in front of him. Everyone jumped. Silver Sonic quickly pointed his electric weapon towards Chaos. "You fool," said Chaos to Silver Sonic in his deep echoing voice. "Your weapons are no match for me. Now put that thing down so I can make negotiations with your friend here. That is, if you want him to live." "Put it down," said Shadow to Silver Sonic. Silver Sonic pionted his built in missle away from Chaos. "Very well," said Chaos. Then he turned to Knuckles. "Now let me ask you something Knuckles. Why? One of your great ancestors sealed me in the Master Emerald. I have been traped in hear for thousands of years. Now you let me out so I can help you? I should kill you right now." "Wait," said Sonic. "I have an idea." "What?" asked Chaos. "If you help us, and let us live, we will give you anything that you want. Knuckles has something that you want. What is it?" "I want to become the guardian of the Master Emerald," said Chaos. "The way it was meant to be." "Fine," said Sonic. "No way," said Knuckles, still in the grasp of Chaos."How about this? If you help us, we'll promise you a peaceful negotiation. We'll comprimise. You get what you want, and I get what I want." "Deal," said Chaos. Chaos let go of Sonic and Knuckles. "I am still unhappy with you Knuckles. And I will make sure that this island is mine again. Now, what is it that you guys need?" "It's the Fire Guardian," said Claw. "He was tough, but no match for the Eggman Empire. But then he escaped and attacked our volcano base on the planet Dessa. Then, when Nights arived with these rouges, the Fire Guardian swiped the Chaos Emeralds. Now he has a lot of our people, which is hurting us badly against the Eggman Empire." "Well," said Chaos. "Let me give you a small sample of my power. Chaos Control!" Chaos warped everyone to Dessa in an instant. But Tails and Iggy weren't with them. "What happened to Tails and Iggy?" asked Sonic. "I wouldn't bring those little ones to Dessa," said Chaos. "They're too young to die. And they would die in an instant in this place. So I left them at Angel Island." Sonic was really starting to get annoyed with Chaos's bossyness. But he would've done the same thing. He would never let anything happen to Tails. And he knew that Iggy was toast in this place." "Hold it," said Shadow. "How did you use the Chaos Control without an Chaos Emerald?" "I am the Chaos," said Chaos. Shadow dropped the subject. Everyone looked up to see the volcanic action everywhere. "It's like a battlefield," said Claw. "Just the way I like it." "Gamma," said Shadow. "Where is the Fire Guardian?" "Scanning," said Gamma. Chaos had impatience. He wanted to destroy the fire guardian. He wanted to be the greates being in the universe. He couldn't wait for the scan to complete. In an instant, everyone was warped to the inside of one of the volcanoes. "What the?..." said Charmy. They were all in a huge opening in the volcano. It was practically a pit of lava. The only rock that was there was around the edges. And there were a few tunnels. "Damn!" yelled Knuckles. "It's hot down here." "Everyone is okay," said Shadow. "And Metal Sonic and Silver Sonic can easily withstand this heat. We'll survive." "Sonic!" yelled a voice. Sonic looked up. It was Amy. He also saw Espio, Vector, Mighty, Rouge, Rotor, Mack, and Sally. They were all in sacks that were hanging from the ceiling of the opening. "I'm going up there," said Sonic "I can stand upside down for a few second if I run fast enough." "NO!" said Shadow. "Can't you see? The fire guardian is using them as bait." "They'll all enjoy a trip to my island," said Chaos. Chaos warped them all out of the volcano." "Amazing," said Claw. But Knuckles got really pissed when Chaos called it his Island. And Charmy kinda sided with Knuckles. Suddenly, the volcano started to shake hard. The huge fire guardian came out of the huge pit of lava. The seven Chaos Emeralds were circling above He then looked down at Chaos. "Chaos," said Fire. You think that you are greater than I am, but now I posses the power of the emeralds." "Not if I can help it," said Sonic. Sonic dashed up the fire guardian's back and snatched the emeralds in about three seconds. "No!" said the fire guardian. The fire guardian still had the power of the emralds in him, but Chaos was going to become his size. Fire managed to keep one emerald in his possesion. Sonic handed the six emeralds that he had to Chaos. Chaos became the size of the fire guardian. He was now Chaos 6. Chaosthen melted into a puddle and came back up and surrounded the Fire Guardian with water. Then the water closed in on the Fire Guardian. The fire guardian was no match for the power of Chaos. The Fire Guardian quickly began to deterierate. His screams of pain were laoder than anyone could imagine. The Fire Guardian continued to deterierate until all that was left was his rotten skeleton.   Chaos returned to his old form and took the seventh Chaos Emerald. The volcano was starting to collapse without the fire guardian's prescence. Chaos warped everyone away. They all found themselves back on Angel Island again. They found themselves near the edge of Angel Island with the eight people who were almost killed by the Fire Guardian. Tails and Iggy were there too. "I am Chaos," said Chaos to the people who haven't met him. "I defeated the Fire Guardian and saved all of you." "Thanks," said Mack. "But we need to meet up with others at our space base." Chaos warped everyone on the Island to the space base. They all appeared in the hanger for ships to dock. Everyone stared as they appeared. They had no idea where they came from. Shadow started to look around. "Hold it," said Shadow. "Where's Knuckles?" Knuckles was still on Angel Island. He was at the edge of the island in the sky. Knuckles was looking down the edge. He turned around to see Chaos standing next to him. "This is my island now," said Chaos. His arm stretched towards Knuckles again. This time, instead of grabbing Kncukles, he hit him in the head and threw him off the edge of Angel Island!!!!!!!!!!!!
