The stolen ship crashed, everyone was stranded in a snowy mountainous region, and Shadow could wake up at any second. Things couldn't get worse. "We're gonna freeze," said Tails. "We can't get out of here." "Maybe we can," said Rotor. "If I can just get those two robots fixed, we can get them to get us outta here. The other bots are probably looking for them. We can wait for a ship to fly by, and take control of it." "You have to hurry," said Sally. "We need to get out of here fast or we'll all die. Are you sure you can fix them? It is kind of difficult to work out here." "Hey," replied Rotor. "I'm a walrus. I'm used to cold weather. Judjing by the damage,on these bots, I can have them both up and running in two hours." "Alright," said Sonic. "Lets get back in the ship to keep warm. There should be some food stashed up in there somewhere. We can eat and then get to work on the robots." Shadow was still knocked out and tied down. Everyone ate in the ship and started and interesting conversation. "So, Rotor," said Sonic. "What was it like in the prison? And what happened to you out there?" "Well," replied Rotor. "I still remember it like yesterday. ou and me were both three years old. That's when we were attacked by that big egg dude. He killed lots of people. He took the young ones as prisoners. He needed them to become slaves. He is a very sick man. He turns his prisoners into Robots. I was there for years, but he never got to me. We were fed bread and water every day. We were there for years until you and your buddy, Tails, came to our rescue." "That was your big story?" asked Vector. "That's nothing compared to mine. Have you ever heard of Angel Island?" Everyone knew about it but none of them were actually up there. "I lived up there," he continued. "I wasn't born up there. Me and my friends snuck up into one of Robotnik's ships which flew up there. We got caught but we weren't taken prisoner. Instead, we were sent to Angel Island to rot. We found out what kept the Island afloat. It's called the Master Emerrald. It is the controller of the Chaos Emeralds. We met the guardian of the Master Emerald. He is the only one who lives up there. He is and echidna named Knuckles. We lived together in peace and called ourselves the Chaotix. A few years later, Robotnik came back to the Island to retrieve our bodies. When he saw that we were still alive, he took us prisoner. He never found Knuckles or the Master Emerald. Knuckles will come for us. It'll be over if Robotnik finds that Emerald." "That was the biggest pile of horse sh*t I've ever heard," siad Sonic. "It's true," said Vector. When we find another ship, I'll take you there." "Stop it guys," siad Sally. "Rotor, get to work on those bots. I want the two of you to shut up." Rotor fixed the two robots. He discovered thier powers. They were very well armed. Tails later heard a ship flying by. "Guys," said Tails. "Did you hear that?" Everyone ran outside. The ship looked just like theirs. It landed right in front of them. The door on the ship opened and five robots walked out. These robots were different from the swat bots. They were the E-Series robots. Beta, Gamma, Delta, Epsilon, and Zeta. They all lined up. Sonic lined up with Metal Sonic and Silver Sonic. "Let's see what theese guys can do," said Sonic. A fight broke out. Delta, Gamma, and Beta started rolling on wheels. Sonic and the decoys dodged every shot from the E-Series. They all jumped up and destroyed the robots with one homing attack on each one. Sonic landed and the two decoys used lasers from thier eyesto destroy the other two. "Hurry up and get on the ship," said Sonic. "Take these other robots with us. We can use them." Everyone got on the ship. Sonic forgot Shadow. "Hey guys," said Sonic. "I'm gonna go get Shadow." "What? Why?" said Vector. "C'mon man," replied Sonic. "I can't leave him there to suffer. That's cruel. I don't wanna be like Robotnik." "Fine," said Vector. "But hurry back." Sonic went back into the other ship. He pulled Shadow out. While they were outside, Shadow woke up. "Fool," said Shadow. "Did you really think these ropes would stop me?" Shadow broke out of the ropes and stood up. "Now I will kill you." Everyone else in the ship didn't know what was going on. Suddenly, the ship took off. Sonic yelled up at them. "Hey guys! Where do you think you're going?" "I don't know," yelled Tails. "It must be on auto-pilot. We don't know how to work this thing. You're gonna have to jump on before we get too high." The ship was only about two feet from the ground. Sonic tried to take a jump. "I don't think so," said Shadow. Shadow grabbed on to Sonic's feet. Sonic tripped and didn't make it. Tails was yelling for Sonic but it was too late. The ship already took off and zoomed out of sight. Sonic and Shadow were both alone together in the mountains. There will be a fight. A big fight. But who will win once and for all?
